Hey ya'll! Today is #BumpDay!What To Expect, Emma Bing (The reason "What to Expect When You're Expecting " got written!!!), and many other great resources have teamed up to spread the word about healthy pregnancies for moms and babies. Get your bump selfie on and join the twitter frenzy! Here's a throwback to my most recent "bump"! The day we took this pic was the first day Little R felt Little A kicking! It was such an exciting day for both of us. :)
Head over to the website dedicated to Bump Day to find out how YOU, as everyday men and women, can help raise awareness to the importance of healthy mamas around the globe! Here are my top 4 ways to join the Bump Day festivities:
1. Follow the #BumpDay hashtag trend on Twitter: #BumpDay
What To Expect
2. Visit these web pages to learn more about #BumpDay and information on the need for awareness!
3. SHARE YOUR BUMPS!!!! Get on social media and start sharing pics of your glorious bellies! The world needs to know that pregnancy bumps are beautiful. Awareness of healthy pregnancies starts with accepting pregnancy in public. Pregnant women should not be shunned, hidden, or ignored. Help women around the world feel comfortable in their own skin by showing the expanding nature of yours!
4. Educate: you can help the mothers in your community, and around the world, by sharing your experiences, and knowledge about pregnancy, babies, and nutrition. Talk to women in your community, join forums for mothers with questions, and maybe take some classes to learn more. In today's society (in the US, at least) there is a trend of anti-social tendencies. Let's change that, my dear friends, by reaching out to women in your own town.
Thanks for stopping by! I'd love if you would leave your #BumpDay photo below, or with the BumpDay hashtag and my Twitter handle @milkmomology! :)
