The Story of Little A and the Boobies That Could
Ahhhhh... breastfeeding. It's a magical - and incredibly frustrating - experience! Baby #2 proved to be quite a challenge in the eating department, as I'm sure is apparent from previous posts. I thought I'd gather it all together in one place for other breastfeeding mamas...

Birthday!
Google made me a Google Doodle!
So fun! Today's birthday entertainment is nothing too flashy, but fun none-the-less! I'll be updating this blog, so look for some awesome posts (including pics of Ricardo's birthday present to me!! It's amazing!). R and A and I will be hitting the park later, accompanied by Starbucks of course, and some marketing and business tasks are in today's plan as well.
Living here in beautiful Washington is almost like a birthday everyday! Ricardo and I have been given the chance to start fresh in a new environment, and we couldn't be happier. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful family nearby, both actual and those family members we hold in Christ, and beautiful visions of God's creation at every turn. A walk down the street is like taking a stroll in your local botanical garden, complete with neighbors who wave as you walk by. :)
I am looking forward to see what God has for us this next year as we settle in further here in Spokane. :) Thanks for reading, friends!

Superman!
Or rather...superGIRL. Perhaps we'll stick to superhero. My friend Krystle has been my superhero of late! She is always rescuing me from mini-crises, the first of which was a desperate need for doughnuts! Yes indeed, doughnuts. It was National Doughnut Day, and since Ricardo was at work (we only have one car), I could not participate in the fun. Krystle my superhero brought me delicious circles of richly baked dough all the way from Victorville. :D I told her I'd make a superhero cape to commemorate my appreciation. Sadly, Doughnut Day was in June!! It took me 5 months to get around to making this cape.
I found this fabric at Wal-Mart and immediately knew that THIS was Krystle fabric :)
I found a really easy superman cape youtube video and used it to make this cape.
I sewed two squares of the fabric together (3 yards folded over itself to make the square) so that both sides were exactly the same coloring. Using the video I cut the holes and then (because it's regular fabric, not fleece) sewed buttonholes around them. I threaded the cape with a red feather boa "for funsies" :D
I love these pictures! Fear not, blogger friends, I will get better at
taking pictures, adjusting lighting, etc.
Thank you Krystle!!!!!

Pumpkin Patch, 2nd Edition
On Sunday we went to the Pumpkin Patch (again) with some friends! We browsed around and also went through the corn maze! Something I've never done before.
We met a scarecrow,
a llama,
a goat,
and an awesome pumpkin train!
We didn't ride the train because it was like 8 bucks per person.
Then it was off to the Corn Maze! It was only the guys and me because Krystle "wasn't in a Corn Maze mood". Lame, Krystle! :)
THIS, is the infamous "#55". We dubbed him this, clearly, because of his jersey. However, the reason he is important to this Corn Maze post, is because we spotted him peeing in a corner of the Maze lol. The boys kept talking about him throughout the maze, so everytime he saw us, he booked it out quick!
